What Does the Job Entail?

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation

• Availability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed

• Willingness to work locally, as well as in other areas of southern California

• Positive attitude and commitment to our company values

• Organized, efficient, and capable of applying attention-to-detail

• Willingness to learn and take direction

• Basic knowledge of sheet metal and flexible duct systems

• Basic understanding of construction documents

• Capable of comprehending construction blueprints

• Capable of comprehending equipment installation and operations manuals

• Capable of safely operating a scissor lift and a variety of hand tools

• Currently possess/demonstrate a willingness to invest in tools for mechanical system installation

• Must be able to safely lift up to 50lb and have no hindrance to the following: pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, kneeling, crouching, stooping, crawling, climbing, and balancing on either ladders or scaffolds

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

• Arrive at the job site on time and ready to work

• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times

• Install mechanical systems, including ductwork (flex and sheet metal), accessories and equipment at commercial job sites according to blueprint specifications

• Assist with unloading and documenting job site inventory

• Attend scheduled company meetings and training

• Adhere to all job site safety standards and attend site safety meetings

• Carry out instructions from supervisor/lead in a timely manner

• Work efficiently to ensure installation occurs within the timeline dictated by the job schedule

• Effectively work as a team member and in coordination with other trades

• Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with preset quality standards

• Effectively communicate with foreman regarding concerns that arise or any training needed

• Immediately report issues with company tools and equipment to supervisor

• Accurately complete required daily documentation
